PEOMIZ is committed to empowering millions of service professionals and facilitating in delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality home and personal services. We believe in creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all our customers and service partners. Discrimination of any kind undermines our values and the trust placed in our platform.
2. SCOPE OF POLICY
This policy applies to all customers and service partners utilizing the PEOMIZ platform for home and personal services anywhere in India. It covers all interactions, transactions, and communications facilitated through or related to the PEOMIZ platform.
3. PROHIBITED GROUNDS FOR DISCRIMINATION
PEOMIZ strictly prohibits discrimination against customers or service partners based on, but not limited to, the following characteristics:
a. Religion: Including religious beliefs, practices, or affiliations.
b. Caste: Including any social hierarchy or ancestral lineage.
c. Race: Including ethnicity, ancestry, or colour.
d. National Origin: Including place of birth, descent, or citizenship status.
e. Disability: Including any physical or mental impairment.
f. Sexual Orientation: Including heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, or asexuality.
g. Sex: Including biological sex and gender.
h. Marital Status: Including single, married, divorced, widowed, or in a live-in partnership.
i. Gender Identity: Including a person's internal sense of being male, female, both, neither, or anywhere along the gender spectrum.
j. Age: As protected under applicable laws.
k. Any other characteristic protected under applicable laws in India.
4. PROHIBITED DISCRIMINATORY CONDUCT
Discriminatory conduct includes, but is not limited to:
a. Refusing to provide or accept services: Denying or being denied a service based on any of the prohibited grounds.
b. Cancelling or attempting to cancel a service: Aborting a confirmed service based on any of the prohibited grounds.
c. Providing inferior service: Delivering a service of lower quality or less favourable terms based on any of the prohibited grounds.
d. Making derogatory or offensive comments: Using discriminatory language, slurs, or stereotypes in communications.
e. Harassment: Engaging in any unwelcome conduct based on a protected characteristic that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
f. Requesting specific service partners/customers based on discriminatory preferences: Attempting to choose or reject a service partner/customer based on any of the prohibited grounds.
g. Displaying discriminatory content: Including images, symbols, or text that promote discrimination on profiles or during interactions.
5. REPORTING DISCRIMINATION
5.1. PEOMIZ encourages all users to report any instance of suspected discrimination immediately. You can report by:
a. Using the in-app reporting feature.

5.2. When reporting, please provide as much detail as possible, including:
a. The date and time of the incident.
b. The names or identifying information of the individuals involved (if known).
c. A clear description of the discriminatory conduct.
d. Any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots of messages, photos).
5.3. All reports will be handled with confidentiality and investigated promptly and thoroughly.
6. INVESTIGATION AND ENFORCEMENT
6.1. Upon receiving a report of discrimination, PEOMIZ will:
a. Initiate a fair and impartial investigation.
b. Gather relevant information from all parties involved.
c. Take appropriate action based on the findings of the investigation.
6.2. Any customer or service partner found to have violated this Anti-Discrimination Policy will face consequences up to and including:
a. Temporary suspension from the PEOMIZ platform.
b. Permanent loss of access to the PEOMIZ platform.
c. Reporting to relevant legal authorities if required by law.
6.3. PEOMIZ reserves the right to take appropriate action at its sole discretion to ensure the safety and inclusivity of its platform.
7. NO RETALIATION
PEOMIZ strictly prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who report discrimination in good faith or who participate in an investigation. Any user found to be engaging in retaliation will be subject to disciplinary action, including loss of access to the platform.
8. COMMITMENT TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
PEOMIZ is committed to continuously reviewing and improving its policies and practices to ensure a fair and inclusive environment for all. We encourage feedback from our community to help us achieve this goal.
9. APPLICABLE LAW
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India with place of jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
